These artworks are created from 700 plates of copper or brass, all cut to size, painted with clear coat and placed in the panel by hand. The third eye is inspired by the slats of an iris converted into an abstract shape. It also represent the sixth chakra in our body according to the Hindu tradition. The third eye chakra is located in the center of the forehead between the eyebrows. It is not a part of the physical body but considered to be the part of the Pranic system. The location makes it a sacred spot where Hindus apply a vermilion bindi to show reverence for it.
